  • Hey Brits!! Translation help please??

    Hey all,

As a few of you know I am a huge football(soccer) fan trapped here in the States. Anyway, I was reading a story about the Wigan-Blackburn match that took place yesterday. Wigan's manager, Paul Jewell had the following quote in the BBC online:
Jewell said of the equaliser: "Their goal at the end is not a foul, it's GBH."

My question is...what the heck is GBH? LOL!!! He obviously thought it was a foul on his keeper...and he heavily criticised the ref. after the match. I just want to know what "GBH" is!!! hehehehahah

Divided by a common language is right!!!

    thanks,

    Chappie

Gammahydroxybutyrate is often called GBH on the street. Yes, the letters are in the incorrect order...

It's not controlled here, either. It's only illegal if you use it as a drug...

But at least you allow people to protest outside your parliment.
