Actually he's refering to Dystopia's "Heavy" class. :D
You guys need to stop in more...

Though I'd say this looks a lot more like the corp light suit at the current stage of development, still interesting though.

Natural Selection had heavies before Dystopia had them. Of course, Starsiege: Tribes predated them both.

Yea, but Dystopia Heavies get laser-guided Missile Launchers.

So, they've made HAL-5. It's only a matter of time now before the HAL 9000. Will there be a Dr. Frank Poole to save the day when it comes??

                  Re: Heavies!

I think its only a matter of time before we see armored exoskeletons on the battlefield. The only question is, how big will they be? Will they be about the size of a person, ala NS HA, or much bigger, more akin to mechs? :)

                      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artific...ed_exoskeleton
Full-sized exosuit as per GITS:SAC. Art complete with a person-sized android
Personal heavy armor as per GITS:SAC (best I could find).
Real Tachicoma! (the 'next' and 'back' buttons are hidden to the lower-right of the pic.) It's a tank (or car) that shoots HMG's and mortars. It feels sorry for computers which can't speak, takes little girls on rides without her parent's permission, and throws dogs like trash. Not really an exosuit.

Not really armor, but it could be the first step. Would need playing, and then the exosuit would just be to carry the plating along, and possibly strenghten the user, though in NS it just carries the armor, possibly impedes the wearer who can't go as fast.

It's too cool that they named it HAL. The guy's name is now officially Dave.
