April 26th there was an accident in indiana that killed a 4 students and a staff member from Taylor University of Indiana. There where 9 total that where in the crash, 4 where rushed into the hosiptal where one young lady had been in a comma since the accident. Well today a press release was issued that 2 of the gals where misidentified. One of them that was thought to be dead was actually the girl in the comma and the girl thought to be in the comma was actually dead and burried. 5 weeks after this ordeal they are just finding this out because the girl in the comma is now coming out and is responding to questions.

How heart breaking could this be to the parents of these girls. Just blows my mind on how this could have happened and how long it took to find this out.

Their van was hit by a Semi that had crossed the median, the driver fell asleep. Just think if the driver would have fallen asleep 5 seconds sooner or later those kids might still be alive or atleast a different result might have happend.
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Yea, just heard that on the radio a few minutes ago. Pretty nuts. Did the living girls' parents not see her at all? I mean, even through a broken, swollen, face you'd think that a mother would recognize her own daughter.

Well the parents of the living girl, who they thought was her daughter, came out of her comma and wasnt acting right. She reacted wierd to some of the questions and such. So the parents asked for dental records to be checked. The living girl is actually from WI and they had taken her to MI, talk about a mess.

That's addressed on the families blog:
