  • Sad times in Boston

The Boston Globe August 29th 2006

Roxbury MA (AP) - A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a Boston courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his Parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Boston Red Sox, whom the boy firmly believes is not capable of beating anyone.

Cmon man...why you picking on the Sox...have some mercy on us Bosox fans...We haven't had a collapse like this since at least 1978 with Bucky f*****g Dent hitting one over the wall to win the one game playoff to see who would advance. I think we were up 14 games at the break that year...

I'm just biding my time for the Pats...

The Red Sox can finish under .500 for the next 10 seasons for all I care. They not only one the World Seriesfor the first time since 1918 but they came back from being down 3 games to none and beat the Yankees to do it. I really cant ask for more in this lifetime sportswise, well maybe for the Eagles to win the Superbowl. Yes, I am from Mass but I fell in love with the Eagles during the Randal Cunningham/Reggie White Era.

I think he'd be safer with the Cubs. They are the new cursed team in my book. Also, LMAO you had me going
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving.
