  • New Web Site Launch!

For the past few weeks I have been working behind the scenes developing and integrating a new content management system for the Tactical Gamer web site. This new system allows for EXTREMELY tight integration with our forums software and adds the ability to roll out more features for our supporting members.

The work on the new site is almost completed and we will be making the transition as soon as some final touches are complete, maybe even this evening!

Some of the new features you can keep your eyes out for:

Latest posts listed on the home page.
News items now are driven from forum posts and replies are added to existing threads.
Forums calendar now replicated to the home page.
Forum/Content search available from the home page.
Support for the NEW Tactical Gamer downloads area!
Support for a NEW on-line web arcade!

This is only a short list of the additions that will be coming into play over the next few days into the coming weekend.
Diplomacy is the art of saying "good doggie" while looking for a bigger stick.

    Roses are red,
    Violets are blue.
    This sounds awesome.

Let's hope the website is better than my poetry! :)

Thanks for the heads up! :) I look forward to seeing the changes. :)

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.
