My Geico is about up and im looking around. Ive been really pleased with Gieco, 600 bucks a year cheaper then Progressive. I looked into All State last night, with all their perks and reward programs it is actually 3 bucks more every 6months. So I guess my question is, in the long run which will be better for me? And anyone got any stories about either one that have made you change to or from them?
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Kinda depends on the state, doesn't it?

That seems strange. It went up when you moved from the city to a small town? Then again, they keep track of all kinds of stats. Maybe that little town has a lot of speeding, or DUIs or something...

So do I. You only pay premiums for 9 months for some reason, get a great membership in their auto club and have access to many driving/traveling resources and discounts.

We have AAA also. they give lots of perks and are just kinda always there when you need them. they dont go through holes to get out of things either. I was in an accident last year and totaled my Nissan Maxima. they paid the full value of the car :)

                    Re: Car Insurance

I heartily recommend State Farm. Maybe a little pricier than some others, but it is the complete package. Best service/support, and their agent system is spectacular. After SF, i'd recommend AAA as well.

State Farm isn't a bad deal at all, but definitely a bit on the pricier side of things.

                        Re: Car Insurance

State Farm homeowners policy did not pay off in MS and LA after the hurricane.

I had Allstate for 25 years and then discovered Progressive to be cheaper then GICO became cheaper. Then Allstate canceled my homeowners policy because I didn't have their auto insurance. So now I am with FARMERS and with both and am happy.

I have Farmers Ins. for my truck. It's an old beat up 99 Ford Ranger, but I pay $50/mo. for liability. The agent I dealt with was very nice and helpful. Great service, very helpful, and best of all, SMOKIN HOTTT!!!! She had me at policy.....
