      Oh my God.

I loved this series so much. I read through the whole thing (up to "Confessor") like 3 times. Ahhhh. I'm seriously wondering how far they'll go though, like what about the Mord-Sith and stuff? Gruesome. :D
Young Man approached the black monolith that emitted a faint glow and humming noise, and it became clear to him that he should fire not where the alien ship is, but where it is going to be. -Magna Centipede

Here's hoping they don't make a big mess out of a great story.

I have high hopes for this one.

If it was HBO or Showtime...maybe. "Normal cable TV..? Not A Chance...

But I will probably watch anyway, as I do have all those books as well..

22 episodes for the first book alone.... suposedly having a few side tracked episodes.... wow 22 episodes..... they likely wont finish the whole book series at that rate.... that would be 10 22 1 hour long episode seasons, im all for it but i doubt it will have enough steam to last 10 years, people in 5 years will be like... AHHH screw it im just gonna read the books to see how it ends (which is an awesome ending if you ask me)

if you havent read these books before i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

It doesn't start here until tomorrow :( looking forward to this! I have seen the preview show and I think this is gonna be pretty good. They filmed this in New Zealand I believe so the cinematography should be excellent.

In my area (Northeast Ohio), the local stations are burying it late into the night. It comes on at 1am. Thank the maker for DVR.

Well, I hope others have better luck. The one station in my area that had it in the listings didn't air it, instead they put an infomercial in its slot.

That's a big undertaking! I read two or three of the books several years ago and enjoyed them.

However once I found George R.R. Martin, no other books seem as good :icon_lol:

I really enjoy Martin's use of the first person and every chapter being the POV from a different character.

Having read both series, I prefer Martin also, and am eagerly awaiting the next book if and when I shows. Back on topic, I found "The Seeker" on WGN last night at 3am, and it did record on the DVR. Looking foward to watching it later today.
