Anyone else here love food (cooking...eating..eating) as much as I do?:row__523:

I made a social group for anyone else who happens to enjoy indulging in ze fine cuisine. I saw a thread with some great recipes so I know you guys are out there!

I enjoy the cooking and eating parts. The parts afterward not so much.

Most of the stuff I cook is Chinese and Taiwanese stuff (not the Americanized Chinese food one usually finds in restaurants).

The BBQ is definitely the way to go for big groups...and luckily it doesn't need to be cleaned too often either!

I think it would be cool to have a forum section just to talk about food. Suggested name: Mess Hall. There are several threads that could be migrated there, including Tactical Recipes, the beer threads, and the various mentions of heart-unhealthy burger places.

The great thing about stew is that it's perfect for leftovers - what's left just gets even more delicious the longer you let it sit because it marinates itself, making the flavor more and more intense. Always make a lot!

I missed that thread, and searching for "scanwiches" doesn't turn it up. Cute idea. Not a good site to go to when you're hungry. ;)

Doh! I read a backlog of about 60 TG threads yesterday, and my brain overflowed. And I didn't think to search for scanwich-singular.
