Anybody still play BF1942?

Hello out there. This being my first post, I'll make it brief.

I was wondering if anybody out there would be interested in forming a small tactical squad for Battlefield 1942 and it's Desert Combat mod. No tags no ranks just serious players.

I stop so long ago but would love to pick it up and play a round or two. Wished it ran on the same 2142 engine!

I have it, along with BF:V, but they aren't installed and I haven't played them in a long time.

I also have the expansion packs.

Seems to be the case with a lot of folks. Im just getting into BF2 but my connections kinda sketchy.

There are a few for Desert Combat, and a little more than a handful for BF1942 but it all depends on which side of the country you're on.

I think I would enjoy this more if it was on the same 2142 engine than the new 1943 that is due to be out for PC soon. Wish they would just think about it and make it happen. I can see myself playing 1942 again if that were to be the case :D

I very much enjoyed 42 and DC. I wish DC was brought back on the BF2 engine, mainly to add the attitude indicator to the DC choppers. I hated getting way up in the clouds with the transport, getting disoriented with no view of the ground, and crashing.

Hey there, if you are still playing BF1942 give me a PM. I made a custom map that is Naval warfare. There is going to be a Naval Warfare Night on another community, but PM me for info as I won't post other communities here out of respect for TG.

I play DC on a server. Its no rules, and its not TG, but its still alot of fun! Of course, if we had a TG server here I would be playing here! If you want to know where to find me, shoot me a PM ill be glad to let you know what server I play on.
