  • Ready for 2012?

This commercial gave me the creeps. A reality check. Has anyone else seen the "IHC" commercial? It's a movie but this is their site.

I would love to hear the feedback.

But it seems interesting enough. I like disaster movies. In that year I plan to graduate University and hopefully, get a real job :p

Man all this effort just for a movie?

I know the whole "viral" advertising is the big thing right now, but this is just a joke.

"We don't know what will happen, but we are 94% sure it will destroy the earth."

            Come on that is laughable.

              Re: Ready for 2012?

I think 2012 is a load of baloney. Not the movie, the concept of everything going to hell on 12/21/2012.

The movie looks interesting though. Nice to see viral marketing becoming mainstream.

Two days ago, when I was choked with a sausage that got stucked into my throat while I ate, I was thinking: ThisIsTheEnd. But you know, my old but very strong dad srtuck my back so hard that this damned sausage flew out my mouth as a space shuttle Endeavour recently :D
So I'm still alive, eat everything except those fatty shuttle-like sausages while my old and smart daddy keep saying: DontThinkCrapMuchAndBeHappy :D:D

I don't believe in a whole world catastrophe, I don't believe all people die, I don't believe there are some The Selected Few's who can represent our beautiful and harmonious planet :)

Look, when the world blows up is in the realm outside of human control, so I do not waste energy on thinking about it...

Ah 2012, the infamous year where the Mayan Calendar ends. They were so precise in their astronomical calculations that it is bind boggling. Did they really see something that we didn't? Did they predict a cataclysmic event that will end life as we know it? Or is there a more plausible, and hilarious answer.

                              Fred (Mayan Calendar maker)
                              Steve (Fred's friend)

*Steve walks up to Fred as he is busy working on the calendar*

Steve: "Yo Fred! What's up man?"

Fred: "Nothin much Steve, just working on the calendar."

Steve: "Yeah? You have been working on that thing for years. What date are you on now?"

                              Fred: "Just finished 12/21/2012."

Steve: "...Dude. That is about 3000 freaking years in the future! An asteroid will probably hit the planet before then and wipe everything out! Nobody is going to need a calendar that far in advance. Give it a break man, the Emperor already said there wasn't a need to go further than the 1500's. Your waisting your life man.

Fred: "...You know Steve, you're right. I have been waisting my life on this calendar. Thanks for the intervention.

Steve: "Just looking out for you man. Now let's go down to the new Waffle House!"
