  • Video Editor and MP4s

Okay, so I have a bunch of MP4 files that I downloaded off of Youtube, and I want to splice them together for continuous viewing on my iPod touch. (It's all the sections of the "A Very Potter Musical" if you must know.)

Anyway, Windows Movie Maker has issues with the MP4 format, and I'm a bit stuck in finding the best way to put them all together. What would you all suggest?

I want to do this as easily as possible while losing as little quality as possible. Any program reccomendations or things to do?

    Thanks in advance!

Browsing around on the net looking for a solution I see alot of people mentioning Yamb. I've never done it myself tho.

That's what I was going to recommend as well. If you had AVIs, I would have recommended using VirtualDub.

You could try lightworks but I think there is a bit of a learning curve just to even get files to import properly.

All Yamb seems to do is overlay the files on top of one another.

Yamb (which is actually a frontend for MP4Box) should allow you to join several MP4 video files to form one single MP4 video file.

That's what I assumed. But when I tried it, I get one of the video files, with the audio from EVERY mp4 in it.

avs4you is the best all around converter I have found.

Problem solved. Found an editor that will just take the mp4s as they are.
