  • New Forum software

The software that this forum currently uses is very old. It might help attract more people to the forum, if it was:
    A. Easier to Navigate
    B. Not so cluttered
    C. A nicer theme.
Anyway these are just my suggestions.

    Re: New Forum software

Actually, the forum software we use is vBulletin 4.1.0, which came out less than three months ago. Its actually very easy to navigate and the administration is constantly making tweaks to improve functionality. The theme is something not everyone can agree on, but I dont have any real complaints with it seeing as its easy to read.

I believe we're getting Facebook integration soon, which will be pretty sweet.

        Re: New Forum software

vBulletin is constantly updated and has many modifications available for it. Plus a lot of security patches are made for it so there are no exploits that can be made to TG. As for the design and everything else, I think, it is fine the way it is! :) IMHO.

Yeah, what Ferris, Undead and NorthPlum said.

The version we're running now is only a couple weeks old. Out of curiosity, what would you suggest as "new" forum software?

AdBlock Plus add-on for Firefox. I think Apophis wants to keep the ads in as they help generate some revenue to help pay for the web server and game servers and such (though I thought ads were disabled for SMs?).
