My Galaxy S 2.2 (Captivate) doesn't seem to do this. Bummer.

You can print out android messages with following ways:
            1. Take screenshots of the messages you want and transfer them to PC.
            2. Find a utility tool can help you export your messages to PC and publish to Excel
