  • Deal of the moment: $30 for Razer TRON mouse (7-button, 5600dpi, wired)

I'm happy with my Logitech G9, but you may be looking for a new mouse. So here's a quick, cheap deal. Though the sound effects that it advertises scare me -- hope there's a way to turn them off!

I wouldn't be worried about the sound affects. Reading the descriptions here and there about that mouse says its during *start up and shut down* not during actual use.

I have this mouse on my work computer. Someone gave it to me because they were too lazy to install the drivers and thought it was too sensitive. The sounds are slightly obnoxious, but only during startup. I have not found a way to disable.

Overall though its a very nice mouse with tons of options and great response and smooth rolling. I use a G500 at home though - just got used to the larger size & shape of this mouse which is identical to my G5.

I just got mine (which I ordered from this deal) and I'm pretty pleased with it for the price. I really needed a new mouse and this one fits the bill. I'm still getting used to the grip and the sound on startup is annoying but it's a great $30 mouse. I don't know if I'd pay much more for it.

Thank you for reporting back, Buckets. Woots tend to repeat themselves, so now I know it's worth reposting if it comes back for a rerun! (and sorry about the sound annoyance)

Just a heads up: Woot has them up for sale again, this time for $5 bucks less than they were a few weeks ago. I've gotten used to the grip and while it's not the most comfortable mouse I've ever used, it works really well. You can't beat it for $30 shipped.
