  • Its me again, Wondering about Pre builts

This time for certain im buying a new computer, I have a steady job this time and plenty of money.

Im willing to spend up to 1300, I want to run BF3 and other games on the highest settings possible.

To me this http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16883227466 is so far the best one for the price I want and what I want for a pre Built one, but Im not sure if its actually good or if there is something wrong with it, or if I could get something better for a similar price.

Im willing to either build my own or fork out a little more for a prebuilt.

      Why 2 7870s instead of 1 7970?

Lol doh, the crossfire was a mistake and I thought I was on budget with 2.

Here's one with a MSI 7970 Ghz edition for 2 dollars under budget.

Updated parts list with canadian prices. I couldnt get you a GHZ edition 7970. However it comes clocked at 1GHz and its only 399, you will be able to overclock that good.

Re: Its me again, Wondering about Pre builts

Pre-built is just not worth it. Assembling a computer is easy, it's just grown up Lego. Even I can do it, and I'm an idiot. :)
Advance warning though, you will have to make a blood sacrifice to the computer gods. Every computer I've ever built has included some small laceration on the edge of a component, usually the heat-sink.

Yeah Im going to build my own, thanks guys.

One last thing made some minor changes http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/Z6EY

I have a HDD with 130 GB of storage and its constantly full which is really annoying, I have WoW BF3 and music, I have to uninstall BF3 or WoW if i want to play anything else.

As for the video card I think its the correct one, its a bit more but cutting the case and the optic drive I have enough, Ill use my old case for now im more then certain it has enough room, and if it doesn't I can wait for a week and buy another heh.

                    Brain,

People may disagree with me but that XFX GHz edition is just not worth it. Go with the gigabyte. It has a much much better cooler. The gigabyte has a base clock of 1000mhz technically making it a GHz edition as well. The XFX has a clock of 1050mhz.

Re: Its me again, Wondering about Pre builts

Well, when it comes to AMD/ATI graphics cards I would suggest going with Sapphire, MSI or XFX. Only Gigabyte product I have died in a matter of months.

You should be fine with all four manufacturers when it comes to graphics cards. Just make sure you register your card after you receive it. Personally, I'm biased and usually go for a Sapphire.
