  • Poor performance

After any half testing task, playing games, runching benchmarks, etc. it appears my 9500 Pro takes a lot of effort to get back to normal. Basically it lags a lot after the task and usually requires a restart to reduce this laggyness.

CPU is fine at 42 degrees, case temp is only 26 and I have tried most cat versions, the same basic thing is happening.

Could it be my graphics card is overheating? How would i remove the stock cooling on these things and give it something a little better? Anything else this could be?

    Running DX9b
    SP1

      D3D game?

go into the 3d tab, then d3d tab, change any settings (fsaa or af) to something different, press ok. The screen should go black, as it applies the settings. Then change it back to what was before, again the screen will go black while applying the settings. this should make your desktop perform as before you played the game.

Changing resolution, applying and changing back to normal resolution may also work for you.
