  • Allright, two quick and probably easy questions...

    Right so first question:

I would like to know how I can set up windows to have Num Lock default to "on" rather than off. I set the bios to boot num lock up as on but when XP starts loading up it gets turned off again.

    Second:

Since buying my new mouse (a USB mouse) and removing my old PS/2 mouse, whenever I boot up, my bios tells me that there is an error with the PS/2 mouse or it has been removed. It then gives me the choice to enter set up or continue booting. Its really no big deal, just a minor annoyance. How can I convince my bios that the absence of a PS/2 mouse is okay?

    Thanks

2: Hard to say w/o knowing what kind of computer you have (brand & model of computer or motherboard).. Look through the BIOS setup options for something about disabling the mouse PS/2 port or not halting on certain errors..
