  • VGA water cooling blocks

I am looking for anybody with experience using VGA water cooling blocks. I already have a complete water cooling system running in my rig, but I want to add some VGA blocks. I currently have 2each 7900GTXs so the blocks have to be fairly thin (no more than 1.5 inches hich) to accommodate for them being set up fairly close in SLI mode.

I am also not looking for any flashy ones with LEDs on them, they are set up in Full tower case and they face down so it would be a waste. Plus I really don’t want to drop $250 on them.

Here is 2 that I was looking at:

    Any input would be awesome!!!

    Thanks

Post some pics of your rig's guts, I'd like to see that.......

I don't know the first thing about water cooling, but it's normally hard to go wrong with Zalman.

One of my teammates was going to try oil immersion. I'll have to see what progress he's made with it.

Oil doesn't transmit electricity, so you can drop the whole motherboard right into a big tank of cooking oil.

You don't want to use cooking oil. It'll go rancid. Maybe he should try motor or mineral oil.

After reading the oil thing, well I don't think I will be trying that just yet!:row__523:

As for adding the video blocks, can I install them on my current cooling system or should I get another radiator and pump? I am just concerned that if I add them in some type of slave system from the CPU to Video Card to Video Card it will be too hard to keep my lines cool.

BTW I a really appreciate all the input!!
