  • Two completely different questions to ask.

Ask I'm typing this I'm scanning for viruses, I'll update later if needed on that subject but here's the first question.

    Symptoms:
Computer becomes un-responsive after so long
I.E. After (say 30 mins) the computer stops functioning, the mouse will work, start menu's will open but any program (My Computer and/or any other app) will not open and/or work. If im playing a game, it'll just stop working all together, if im on my desktop, all running programs will just suddenly stop working. Task Manager is one of the non-working app's so i cant tell what happens after the problem arises...

I've updated my computers drivers, and my setup is as follow's:

    AMD64 3200+ 939 (2.0Ghz Stock)
    Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra 939
    GeForce 6800 AGP
    SoundBlaster X-Fi Platnium
    1GB GeiL DDR400

My Temp's read a nice 36*c idel, and 40-43*c on load (CPU) and my GPU never goes over 90*c way under the 120*c warning level.

And my second question is a game/software question:

Is there any games that take controle of Dual Screens? I just got my old Dell E7772c CRT monitor back from my mom, and would like to test it out on a dual screen game if there is any.
    Screen #1 = Dell Ultra Sharp 17"
    Screen #2 = Dell CRT E7772c 17"

    Thanks for all the help

Re: Two completely different questions to ask.

as of now i dont know of any games that use dual monitors but supreme commandor will, which is to be released sometime this fall/winter. Im sure you have done a full system scan of malware/virus ware....if not do a serious scan useing Adware and AVG anti virus.
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Anyway, i did the virus/spyware scanning, found spyware/malware, but that didnt fix the problem.

How big of a PS are ou using and what kind? It might be a PSU starting to go bad. That's just a vague guess.

            Its a Antec 550w

I got it brand new off of newegg.com less than a year ago.

That's plenty for what you have and Antec makes good PSU.

It may just be time to reinstall windows DV :). Backup all your stuff and RELOAD.
