Hmmm, if it's an installed executable, I'm not sure if AdAware will uninstall it for you... You can't find the new program in your Add/Remove Programs list? If not, I'd try AdAware and/or Spybot Search and Destroy. I'd also interrogate any other users that may have installed this program. 'Course, if it was just your own drunk alter-ego, then interrogation may prove fruitless... :icon12:

You may have to manually remove this from the registry. I found
this link that may be helpful.

Read the entire thing before you use the uninstall link.
      I do what I can.

do you remember installing it? im pretty sure thats spyware and there is only one way i know how to get rid of it (and the best way): http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/fil...d,22262,00.asp . d/l that, download the updates then run it. you'll be surprised how many spbots you could have without knowing it.
Spybot- S&D will get rid of the registry part for you.

I dunno if it spys on you, but it WAS kinda useful when it just showed up for me...it seemed to block popups really well. BUT i didnt know where it came from and didnt like the fact i DIDNT ask for it to be installed, it just showed up one day...anyway if you went to the isearch website you would know:

                    Re: ISEARCH delete??

I got this stupid thing to...I think it came from a IRC install I did a while back :icon23:.

When I run that unistall link I get an error that says "Your current settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly. Ok or Help.

Then it fails to complete the uninstall and the window just stays open.

How do I fix the ActiveX thing?

                    Thx

I leave it enabled all the time, but I have AV protection for ActiveX via Norton. Aren't you on dialup, though? That might convince me to turn it off...
