  • Remote Computer Help

What is the best software to remotely control a computer for repairs, without having anyone to go into the router. I would like to be easy enough that all they would have to do is run an exe that I emailed them. Any suggestions, experiences?

    SSH

There is Remote Assistant which is built into Windows which seems to work ok. Try that.

Thanx Lorian but that looks way over my head. I don't know how to use those kind of commands. I need a gui interface.

SSH is for Linux and other similar operating systems. OSes that aren't completely useless without a GUI.

As you are using Windows check out Remote Assistant.

Remote assistance is very easy in XP. I've have not used it in at least 2 years though.
