    I'm wanting the 1GB version of the GT.

    And looking at the reviews for the 512 GTS, its looking pretty good, its a give or take on the price though, I'll wait to find out if I can justify spending the cash on one. If not I'll just get a 1GB GT.

      the 9 series is due out in February or March. I'd just wait for that.

        Didn't know that, thought it was going to be "this time next year" deal. If so, I can wait until then to see what they come out with.

          I think the 8800GT is still sitting in the right price vs. performance spot. It would probably be wise to wait until after the first of the year to see what happens as well.

            Exactly what they say at Tom's Hardware, here 's the review.

            I have to buy a new card one of these days cause my old one died a month ago. Now I 'm doubting between the 8800GT and the 8800GTS 512... all depends on the money I get back from MSI, which is BTW taking waaay too long :(.
