  • accidentally deleted a root level folder

    Using sudo rm -rf

    I'm on OS X.

Any way to bring them back?

    /Library

Accidentally put a space between /Library and the folder I wanted to delete :-)

    to be specific.

It was just with Leopard that Mac's got "System Restore" functionality.

As far as I know, you'll have to search for a 3rd party program.

Huh? If you mean time machine, I don't use that to back up the /Library folder or any of its subfolders.

But I don't think it matters, so far everything is working, just had to reinstall some plugins. Oh, and I don't have any fonts.

Do a repair installation of the OS?
