  • Shopping for a New Headset

Ive been using a logitech headset for a few years now and i tend to go through about 1 a year due to constant use. Its only 25 bucks for a new one but im thinking of upgrading a bit and wondered what ppl suggested for a good headset in the $50-$70 range. Ive been looking at a couple of force feedback models like this one:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826235002

    and this one:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826504004

My only limitations are that I dont have a real sound card, just an onboard one so I dont want to get anything that wont sound the way its supposed to w/o a card.

Any and all thoughts are greatly appreciated

Re: Shopping for a New Headset

    I am using these

    and really happy with them.
I have actually been confused and freaked out when watching movies when the rear speakers would make sound, and I would think there was something really behind me. They have a lot of options for hooking up to your computer and can even be used with like an xbox360.
By the way, what usually happens to your headsets that causes you to buy a new one so often?

There was a big thread on headsets a while back. Do a search.
