  • This is really making me p/o'ed (mic)

Every mic that is plugged into this PC stops working. Is there anything or anyway a PC can MAKE a mic stop working? Or a connection affecting/disabling a mic? In ANY way? I've tried everything, and I KNOW these two mics didn't just stop working, especially since one is new, and the other is like-new.

This is really making me mad, because I have to type to communicate :(

    Any suggestions?

For some stupid reason on my comp I have to only plug the mic jack in half way to have it work. if I plug it in all the way it does not make the right connection. If I plug it in then back it out about half way then it works.

Do you use onboard audio or a sound card, or both? I found my mic would stop working occasionally when I connected the mic to the sound card. I use the sound card for audio and plug my mic into the onboard audio and everything works smooth now. Sorry, don't know if that's any help at all.

i just ended up buying a cheap-o desktop mic for like 8 bucks. For being cheap and all, it works awesomely :D
Very clear on teamspeak, and when put right, sounds good on CS
            Thanks for trying though :)
If you ever find out more on this issue, please tell me too :)
