    Thanks Bamboo!

This driver works with BF2142 without modifications, that last 178.13 didn't.

Thanks mate. Always a bit apprehensive to download, given Nvidea's past record, but i might. ArmA performance? I remember that driver that gave a 10% percent increase in FPS, does this incorporate that?

Oops, looks like i was a bit too quick. The same problem with 2142 is still there. You have to set AA to 8x in the nvidia control panel and not ingame and then it works though. If you set it in the ingame options, weird black screens happen when you die etc.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce Release 178.24 WHQL Driver released

I am not sure if the driver is the issue with my computer or time for a fresh install of Vista. My computer when playing PR has been completely locking up on me and I have to do a hard shutdown. I had tried everything I could think of to get control back but in the end the power button was the only way.

While on the subject of Nvidia drivers, they have also just released a beta 180 series driver, and things look very good for it according to tech reviews. It is just a beta though

Thank you Superfast. I started getting these weird black screens whenever I was killed or an explosion happened near me. Going to fix tonight.

Gotta love EVGA and step-up :)

Wonder how these will stack up in FC2 and just generally against ATI
Maybe ATI will be in the hole for high end soon.

Also wonder how the drivers will be when they come out of beta, will be interesting to see if the extra frames are worth it over DX10.1

Re: NVIDIA GeForce Release 178.24 WHQL Driver released

I can't get the AA to force outside of program settings, but when i set the program within the game menus, i get AA but the black screens return.

BTW, I have the shortcut modified to run at 1280*1024. I'm using a 8800GT with windows 64-bit Vista.

I'm currently downloading my old drivers for a roll back in case i can't figure out this crap.
