  • SLI Ready Memory vs Standar

I've been looking at my board and the specs says it 800mhz(the speed i'm currently using) and 1200mhz of SLI-Ready memory. Whats special about this and do i have to have a second GPU in order to use this specific RAM.

    Sorry if this sounds stupid.

"SLI-Memory" is just a fancy marketing name for high-performance memory. I've seen it used here and there.
