BF2 works fine with Vista x64 and 4+ GB of RAM.

I've had no problems with it, PR 0.8, or BF2142.

BF2 will not use more than 2gigs of RAM. It still works though.

You can modify the exe to allow more RAM usage, but you get MD5 kicked by Punkbuster. *Shakes fist*

I wanted the best of the cheap. I'm planning on going quad within a few months, so i didn't want to put to much into a dual core I'm going to use only for a bit.

I should have went with the X2 7750, but i didn't see it before I bought mine.

SamO, only game I know of off my head that had to get a patch to fix Vista and 4Gb RAM was ArmA. I am sure there are other games that may have issues but ArmA was the one that had gave me issues(at least till I got the patch) with Vista Ultimate x64 and 4Gigs of RAM.

Mods for Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War experience random crashing in Vista. Supposedly (according to several forums) both games will crash-to-desktop after a short/long period of playing (unmodded) for no apparent reason.
