Keep in mind that if you are running Vista, you do not want to buy this. Creative's support of Vista is still not great. And, even if the drivers were flawless, because of the new audio architecture in Vista the argument to have a dedicated audio card is not at all strong. XP--definitely. It kicks ass.

Also, Creative has recently laid off almost 50% of their workforce, so that is another consideration:

Twisted is right, but I and a lot of other guys I run with are running Vista64 and this card and yeah, we all know about the drivers, but it is still better than the onboard I had with my high end ASUS motherboard.

About the only problem I and everyone else are still having is the loss of microphone in BF2/PR, but I already posted about the quick way to reset it and get back in game.

        EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy crap, they have a new driver out as of Dec. 18th.
I usually check at least once a week to see if they have a new driver, but being gone for the holidays I missed it.

It is for all X-Fi cards and both Vista and XP

Keep in mind, you do not want to buy this, period. Creative are a company I hate more than any other, all their cards have dodgy drivers, issues with mics, with inputs, with outpts, with speakers, with using in game and TS, I ended up throwing mine in the in and getting a RaZeR card, best sound decision ever.
