  • Six Essential Steps to Diagnosing and Curing a Slow Startup

I did a long detailed writeup about this same thing here in the forum a few months ago, but this actual article was just posted:

Six Essential Steps to Diagnosing and Curing a Slow Startup

They also add in the step of using Comodo registry cleaner, which I have been meaning to post about for a while now as well.

    Check this out:

That is from about 2 weeks ago, and tried it out and liked it.

Nice little write up. One thing that I have read on the Overclocking forums is that you never use msconfig for dissabling services (startup items is fine). I can't remember the reason why it's not recomended but basicaly its better to go control panel\administration tools?\services and dissable them there or turn them to manual.
