What nifty things do you run in your sidebar?

    Or is now, anyway...
The stuff from Orbmu2k looks pretty cool. I may replace CoreTemp with those.

CoreTemp is nice, but often the driver doesn't start so its gadget sits empty.

I'm also running an alarm clock from http://www.gadgetsforvista.net/.

I really like the new CPU monitor gadget from Orbmu2k. It uses a ring 0 driver to read temperatures off of the processor directly. Much better than using a separate monitoring tool in the background.

    Here's what I'm using currently...

        Nope. Not that I've noticed.
At idle, I'm looking at maybe 4-5% CPU usage and with my gadgets, probably 85Mb of RAM. Not a whole lot really, for all of the functionality it adds.

I run pretty much the same stuff as everyone else. I have my temps in the taskbar color coded. The graphics sidebar tool I use requires rivatuner to be installed. The converter comes in handy.

          All Cpu Meter
          Converter J
          iweather 2.0
          GPU Monitor
          Digi Clock 1.1
          Real Temp (taskbar)

One issue with the Orb gadgets is that there's no option to change the update rate. I usually change Task Manager to use the slow rate so I can see lots of history.

I use the dailysnooze gadget. It's basically a news gadget that takes it's news from the BBC. It works for me.
