  • on a quest for a SSD

So, i got my thinkpad T400 on my lap right now,

i want a proper fast SSD to cope with the rest of the system (it got a 2.8Ghz C2D, radeon 3470 HD, 4GB DDR3 RAM)

so just show me some ssd's with this criteria:

    capacity: 120-160GB
price under 400$, most preferably around 300
    support for windows 7 TRIM
not failing after 1 year and 1 day of use.

show me what recommendations you can make and i might have x-mas present to buy myself :p

As usual I refer to anandtech to do your research.

      http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=3667

And just as a note the Intel G2 drives should have proper TRIM support now or very very soon.

        dis looks promising:

but it doesn't say wheter it supports TRIM or not
and apparently TRIM support is addable via F/W update..
