  • APC for my pc

I need a battery backup(ups) for small power outages and blips in the power. I have one now that is old and the battery won't hold a charge. So what is a good one for around $50-$100? :icon_cool

I use this. Got tired of buying new battery back ups every couple years. Those batteries are a money pit. This unit does not work if power goes out completely. Only regulates existing voltage.

I know it's about $60 more than you want to spend. But when I have had one of these for the last two years and I haven't replaced the battery yet. It's also been a lifesaver when I had some power irregularities in my home.

The amount of power available when a complete outage occurs is about 20 minutes when I had a 8800GTX, 4HDD, a 4400+x2 cpu and a 19" CRT monitor on it. I like it so much that I am gonna get one next month after I pay for school.

I saw this thread and thought you were making a Stryker case.

        Disapointed.
