  • Radeon HD 5750 on an 600 Watt PSU - Will it work?

Ok, I am rather Curious if this will work,

I am going to buy an XFX Radeon HD 5750. Will it run on an 600 watt PSU?

It Requires 450 watts minimum to run.

Here are my system specs as of now.

Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz Processor
    4 GB of Ram
2x 750 GB Western Digital Caviar Green Hard Drives
    Gigabyte EP45-UD3L Motherboard
EVGA 9500 GT 1 GB DDR2 Video Card.

I do not have anything overclocked.

If some one could help me that would be great.

I am upgrading for bad company 2. Just to let you know.

More important than the stated wattage of the power supply is the 12V amperage and quality.

12V amperage should be on the side of the unit or stated in the documentation.

Any decent 600 watt unit will be more than enough for that setup.

Thanks namebot you are a lifesaver :)

I thought I would have to go and purchase another PSU.

      Once again thank you :)
