  • microSD card class 6 guarantees speeds?

so i got myself one of these

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211379

and the write speeds for it are at a miserable maximum of 3mb/s, shouldn't that be 6mb/s?

even in reads it achieves 9.7mb/s

is this normal or just a semi-defective card?

Life's too short to live it fast.

The write speed is going to vary greatly depending on what type of files you are writing and on your motherboard. If you are writing a large continuous file (like an archive or image), then usually you'll see the 6 MB/s transfer rate, if not higher. If you're writing a bunch of smaller files (or tiny files), speed is going to drop.
