  • Stress Test Your Hardware to Troubleshoot Problems and Keep Your Computer Stable

I have been meaning to write a TG guide to benchmarking/ stress testing for over a year now. I even have a bookmarks folder with tons of saved sites/program links to use. I have just been busy and haven't' gotten to it.

Good news is to tide us over till then Gizmodo did a short writeup with a link to a good guide.

The guide is on a site called Tested, which I had never heard of, but looks pretty good.

The other big reason for posting about this that benchmarking it really important to understand so you can find your bottlenecks. That will help you with making the right upgrade decisions to get the most for your money.
