    Nice pics! :)

Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could go to a place and see 5 eagles on the same tree.

Nice photos, cruise looks like it'd be fun!
        I don't have to take a cruise though, I live in Alaska : )

By the way, first post ever here, I've been lurking and reading the awesome 2142 guides for a while though.

Re: Our Alaskan Cruise - June 2009

We went to Alaska twice. My wife and I went by ourselves in about 2002. her parents thought it sounded fun and turned it into a family trip the very next year. They even paid for us to go with them. WOOT! FREE ALASKA TRIP!

My advice: Take the inside passage cruise from Vancouver up to Seward. Take the bus to the airport at Ankorage. Then rent a car and spent at LEAST a week driving up in the main area. Go to Denali national park. Heck, you could spend a week there alone. Go fly around Mt Denali (McKinely).

We went ocean kayaking and saw a lot of bald eagles and stuff, too. IT was great. Going through these little islands. Saw these starfish that change their sex. One is purple, the other orange (forget which is which). You'd see some taht were half purple, half orange as they changed their sex. COOL and weird.

We had about 50 - 60 or so. On the ship at sea it dropped down a bit. Weather was fantastic.
