Wow, just wow. $10,000 worth of damage over a $200 tow bill.

She sure did have a bee in her bonnet.

She'll have the prospect of sitting in jail to now consider, too. I'd have charged her with aggravated assault for throwing the transformer at the guy, among others things for the destruction of property.

People are rarely logical when it comes to price ratios. Anyone that has ever been involved with gasoline prices should recognize the phenomenon.

This is still my favorite, although some claim it's a fake, it's a good one if it is.

Those are some of the most amazingly horrible cubicles I've ever seen. Want the ability to stretch without bumping into the person immediately behind you? NO. NOT ALLOWED.

Not sure why they let her throw that **** at them.....

That sort of thing should get you aquainted with the floor all quick-like....

I thought about that too, but in this litigious society we live in, if they would have laid a hand on her, they would have a (losing) lawsuit on their hands, despite her acting like a maniac.

Reminds me of a book I read recently, A Bee in the Mouth: Anger in America Now, by James Wood.

                      Peter Wood.

That said, looking at a couple of reviews and analyses of the writing, this guy and his general argument looks like yet another misguided screaming of "AMERICA HAS LOST ITS MANNERS".
After reading some of his blog posts, articles, and general fanfare, I just have trouble taking him seriously. His general decision on whether or not someone is "angry" seems to depend more on whether or not he (politically) agrees with them and less on what they actually do and say. Seems like a reasonable observation for me to make when he seems preoccupied with solipsistic arguments about the nature of his style of anthropology as science...yet has to go through the publisher Encounter Books (go through their book list and decide for yourself whether or not they're a truly academic and scientific source) to express his observations.

And I'm going to mention, while it's largely a fallacious and meaningless statement to make, that it's downright stupid that the first truly reasonable critique I could find of his book (aside from the Amazon reviews interestingly enough) came from the managing editor of Playboy.

Hmm, and all I said was "reminds me of...".

Your reply reminds me of something else . . .

Didn't make any statement regarding you. I just did some cursory examination of the link and its contents you provided and found the contents...lacking.
