    http://www.cnn.com/2003/HEALTH/12/05/shrinking.brain.ap/index.html

Low to moderate drinking may cause a loss of brain tissue in middle-age people, a study found.
But here is the last paragraph....

Ding said researchers cannot make a definitive cause-and-effect link between drinking and brain atrophy because the MRIs were done only once during the study and because they found only a small reduction in tissue.
Blah, in large bold letters they make the claim linking the two, then in the very end of the article, they said it can't be back with data.

                  hell yeah, wednesdays rock!

lol... I love the onion.... funniest email I ever got was from a "in-law" family member. It was a big "forward this to everyone" type thing that was linking the new harry potter book to teaching satan worship. The funniest part was how they quoted he onion's article verbatim, and took off running like it was true... :)

Here is another "interesting" news article

                    http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/europe/12/10/ireland.bombings.ap/index.html

Police, army linked to Irish bombs
Barron said it was likely that individual police officers and members of the British army's overwhelmingly Protestant local regiment "either participated in or were aware of preparations for the bombings."

But the judge's report did not provide firm proof backing these suspicions. He cautioned that he had gathered no evidence of any high-level collusion between British security forces and the bombers.
