Dude you have it all wrong.

      From CNN, BREAKING NEWS,
"A Web site message, purportedly from Osama bin Laden, says Zacarias Moussaoui had nothing to do with the 9/11 terrorists attacks."
A highly-placed administration official received a message from Osama bin Laden that says Zacarias Moussaoui had nothing to do with the 9/11 terrorists attacks.

"An internet blogger, experienced in government conspiracies, says that oil could be replaced by alternative energy sources as soon as 2007 if the government wasn't blocking research"
Oil could be replaced by alternate energy sources as soon as 2007, but administration officials are blocking critical research, according to a vetaran industry insider.

"A dude on irc who seems to know alot about military stuff says that the US will probably drop 1000 nukes on Iran"
Military Strategist and Defense Watchdog [email protected] predicts that President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld are planning to drop 1000 nuclear bombs on Iran.

        :D

That's just the thing... the things you wrote are how they USED TO do it, but now they don't even try to hide the pathetic lack of research going into their stories. The first item was a cut and paste from the CNN web site.

EDIT: I should add. It was in big print on a red banner at the top of their page and labelled "BREAKING NEWS". And today it isn't even in the top stories, replaced by more important stories like "Atheist sues Catholic Church for proof of Jesus".

News these days is just sad. No news is good news. They have these lame news clips about things nobody cares about. I really only watch the news now to laugh at them when they screw up.
