  • Are you a "professional" ?

The following short quiz consists of 4 questions and will tell you whether you are qualified to be a "professional."

Scroll down for each answer. The questions are NOT that difficult, BUT don't scroll down UNTIL you have answered the question!

    1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

    2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Did you say, "Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?"

    Wrong Answer.

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

    3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the
    animals attend... except one.

    Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator.
You just put him in there. This tests your memory.

Okay, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities.

    4. There is a river you must cross but it is inhabited by crocodiles and you do not have a boat.

    How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been listening? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90%
of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong, but
many preschoolers got several correct answers. Anderson
Consulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that
most professionals have the brains of a four year old.

I got 'em all correct... Well, I kinda missed the first one. My answer was "very carefully". After I saw their answer to the first one, the rest were easy!

        Apparently the answer is NO.

Even after the first answer I still got them wrong.

OK show me where the hell on earth you're gonna get a fridge that big!? And if the fridge is that big why can't I fit both in? And where am I gonna get these animals from?

Re: Are you a "professional" ?

I formed a committee to study question #1 and they recommended that I say this:

I strongly support giraffes and elephants and the rights of refrigerators, and when I am President I will form new strategic partnerships with the lion and the crocodiles. No I won't. Yes I will.

We didn't get around to #s 2-4, but that's not my fault.

They didn't specify the initial state of the fridge. For all I know there could have been 3 camels in there, so how can you assume that the giraffe will fit in there.

I chopped them up too :) I am happy to say my brain is more on the level of a professional than a 4 year old. I only got one right :)

depending on how strict the union laws in your state are, you must first request rntal time for the fridge, in triplicate, and get written approval for delegation of union resources to supervise the job of getting the girraffe in the fridge. after the giraffe is in the fridge, a union member must inspect the job and verify that no additional fees are required. once the door is closed, you must pay off the union official to officially deny the event required less than a half day labor for the 5 supervising union employess. if this step is overlooked, you might have your legs broken for showing disrespect.
