    Wasted
Sadness comes and goes and so does joy and love.
Men and women die a sour death
And wonder why we wasted our time.

We wasted our time in thoughts
    of trivial properties.
In sadness we see things we wish we had not.
But in joy and love, we see something we hope not to lose our grip.

Man has love but for a moment,
Before it is lost for eternity.
Love for people is the most fragile and sorrowful,
But the love for things is the most decieving.

Joy comes in the time of happiness
With fleating drums and voices lifted.
Joy is quick to come and faster to leave,
    And very well seen.

We waste our time living here thinking,
And not acting on our own.
We live for a time for sadness to flow in the wake of love and joy, and
    For Man to die.
