  • Test your News IQ from the Pew Research Center

I found this interesting. Only 6 percent of those surveyed got all twelve questions correct.

I feel like a complete idiot. I guess people WERE right about me. Haha.

    Got a 19! :(

      9 out of 12... 59th percentile

However for my age group (18-29) the average is only 28 so I feel good about that

Scored 11 of 12... only one wrong was that I overestimated Iraq deaths. Pretty easy quiz for anyone that picks up a newspaper more than once a month, I'm actually surprised that the average score is so low. Especially among 18-29 year old's. Sort of a sad statement on my generation.

I got all twelve questions correct. The two questions that I had to think about for a bit were which car companies received bailout money and the number of US military deaths in Iraq.

            10/12, with 69th percentile.

Got the unemployment too high and the Dow too high. Numbers like that are generally things I don't memorize, but instead note how they trend relative to numbers in the past. It's the graphs, not the values, I tend to pay attention to.

Wow, I got 5/12 correct (19 percentile). Guess that's what I get for being a busy student who rarely turns on the TV (or reads the news).

I too missed the Iraqi count. Seeing how it's not plastered all over the news since Bush left office.
