    http://fonline2238.blogspot.com/

An online game heavily based on Fallout II, using the same graphics and the same SPECIAL game system. It's just like fallout, but with more PKing, less content, and a crafting system!

The game is currently in open beta, which means that while the engine is working they're still working on balancing things and adding content. that said, the game is playable, if somewhat weird and frustrating. It's unapologetic ally hardcore, you will be murdered and your stuff will be taken. It helps to have friends to watch your back and help craft weapons and kit.

Note that you need to have a copy of Fallout 2 to play, as Fonline uses the same graphics as FO2.

Eitherway, give it a shot, and PM me if you decide to play. The game is a lot easier if you have other people to help you along!

Oh no. That's a real game from real game company.

What I understand this is modded Falllout 2 that features online play.

That sounds awesome! I'll see if I can find my FO2 disc.

Okay, for the record, the game world is unapologetically violent. I would strongly advise finding other people to hang out with. PKing and grief play are pretty frequent and combat is currently rather unbalanced.

Keep in mind that the game is currently in a Beta state.

Eitherway, I'd reccomend tagging small guns and picking two other skills you like the looks of. Unarmed combat is good to have some points in even if you don't tag it as it will let you fight off monsters even if you've died and lost your weapon. Science and repair are importnat for crafting equipment. Outdoorsman will allow you to avoid encounters, and you'll get some experience for doing so. It also makes you travel time shorter.

NCR, The Hub, and Junk Town are fairly safe towns. They've got NPC guards who will shoot thieves and anyone who attacks another player unprovoked. Hang out in that area until you have a better grasp of the game.

The area around NCR and Modoc are good for finding Brahmin. You need Brahmin skins to make a tent, which serves as a sort of hideout and loot stash. Brahmin will kick our ass at level one, so it helps to have some friends.

FOII is available for 5$ at good old games.
