  • Eve Support Not Responding so I turn to you

    I've sent this question off to the Eve folks, but its been days and I haven't gotten a response so I thought I would see if anyone else knew the answer to this:

    If I purchase an Account, and then I'm away for several months, so I don't want to pay the subscription, can I come back and restart the Account and resume where I was with my character? Or would I have to start over from the start? If it does hold my character, any idea on how long it will hold it?

    I believe you can re-activate before six months. I seem to remember some threads on the eve forums from people who have had characters purged after this period.

    Best to actually get an official word from CCP though.

      My character logged out in August 2004. He was still there in December 2005.

        I assume this is what you meant, but I just want to verify: You're character was logged out and you did not pay the monthly subscription fee for that period, correct?

          I cancelled my subscription August 2004 and reactivated late December 2005, all of my characters are still there.

              they're official stance is 6 months, but most of us haven't had our chars deleted. I think they only delete characters on an account after that time if they are not developed very much.
