    the planetside 2 pc servers will be coming down at 6am (pacific) / 13:00 (utc) for a brief hotfix. Estimated downtime is 3 hours.
    bug fixes
    • killing vehicles should once again count toward weapon medal credit.
    • restoration kit now uses the intended icon.
    • ikanamís vehicle bay has been revamped, and now accounts for magriderís thickness.
    • fixed various occlusion and doodad issues in ikanam.
    • the gap in ikanamís cave ceiling has been sealed.
    • detection devices once again track enemies.
    • the second implant slot should no longer prevent carapace from receiving healing from the regeneration implant.
    • ant/sunderer resistances have been returned to their live values prior to the june 8 hotfix.
    • liberators are once again pullable from the vr training area.
    • nightmare rank 5 will no longer activate on teamkills.
    • the tech plant benefit will no longer show in the tab screen.
    • replaced the duplicate esamir continent lock icon.
    • speculative fix for stacking particle effects on control points due to esamir benefit.
    • esamir lock benefit now activates on vehicle capture points as well.
    • fixed some misplaced mounds inside xelas and onatha biolabs.
    • fixed an interpenetrating wall at sungrey west gate.
    • xelas biolab southern teleporter roomís shield has been reinstalled.
    • fixed combat surgeon ranks 3, 4, and 5 not granting energy on revives.
    • basic training gunner seat kills directive string updated.
    • gauss compact s underbarrels now uses the appropriate ammo capacity.

    • hipfire standing cof from 1.75 to 1
    • hipfire crouching cof from 1.75 to 1
    • hipfire walking cof from 2 to 1.5
    • hipfire crouchwalking from 1.75 to 1.25
    • hipfire pellet spread from 3.5 to 3
    • hipfire cof bloom from 0.14 to 0.07
    • hybrid laser hipfire cof and pellet spread reduction from -15% to -20%.
    • suppressor velocity reduction from -35% to -20%.
    • suppressor min-damage range reduction from -20m to -10m.

    dev note: While the aim down sights on this weapon is fairly competitive, the hipfire function was performing below expectations. Buffs to cone of fire attributes extend the range at which hipfire can be used, and the suppressor values now fall in line with that of other smgs. Default magazine improvement of two rounds offers a bit more forgiveness against higher health targets, without stepping on the toes of other smgs.

    known issues
    • koltyr shows in the map continent rotation, this issue is still being addressed.

    I hate to say it but I really grew fond of the sensor. I'm glad its back. It reminds me of how I called the game in CSS. We really have to stay on top of whats coming into the fight.

    I run on fumes when I'm in game but if I'm full aware I read those sensors off like a book. Kinda like the town crier :)
