What a loss. He has done a great deal for animal conservation.

I'm seriously broken up about this. That dude was my favorite thing to watch on TV for many, many years.

This is one of those strange scenarios where a guy you never met dies unexpectedly and you feel like you've lost a family member.

For those of you with small children, especially a young boy then you have no doubt seen more of Steve than you ever imagined. You couldn't help but feel that he was a genuine guy and a good soul.

He will be missed by kids and parents alike.

Careful Luna, Even though you say it out of fond rememberance as I did earlier today, people might rip your throat out over it.

Or maybe they just don't like me for suggesting forgetting about the crocs in honor of him?

It is strange, how many of us have never met this guy in person, yet it really does feel like we've lost a friend. (you will be missed Stevo. Happy hunting) :(

Aye Steve will be missed. But how many people get to go out of this world doing what they REALLY LOVE doing, that is what I think made this guy so great.

Been watching his shows after I get home from work for years with my 8 year old son. That guy was precious and will be missed more than I can say.
