    Flying Mount Costs in Beta as of 1/4/07:

    Training:
    Riding 225(level 70): 800g
    Riding 300(Level 70): 5000g

    Mounts:
    Normal Flying Mounts: 100g
    Epic Flying Mounts: 200g
    Sajaman/|TG-Irr|Sajier - WoW Resto Shaman, BF2/BF2142 Assault/Medic

    Just to add on to this...

    Riding 150 (level 60): 500g

    Remember that the 150 mount (epic land) is usable in Azeroth and Outland. However the 225 and 300 (normal/epic air) is usable only in Outland. Until you scrounge up the 6000 gold to get an epic air mount you're going to be doing a lot of riding on the ground with the epic land...or taking short cuts with the normal air.

    Anyhow, you still need to train 150 before you can train 225 and 225 before you can train 300. That means from 150 to 300 you need 6000 gold (800g for 225 + 5000g for 300 + 200g for mount) and from 75 to 300 you'll need around 6500.
    My sanity is not in question...
    It was a confirmed casualty some time ago.
