Turn all your vid settings to the lowest, sound settings to lowest, run the lowest res and tomorrow: get your butt back in the server so I can hand it right back to you!

What are your specs james? My little brother has the same problem for no reason....it was just running fine on that computer until I swapped the sound card....So I suspect that it has to do with that.

Also James, try using the drivers from http://www.omegacorner.com/ . I'm currently using them, and I get beautiful framerates in DC with everything turned to the highest setting.

What vid card do you have _Ender_ ?

I'm going to be selling my old vid card (nVidia geForce3) soon... I'll post it up in the forums. It runs BF well, near max settings.

                    its a radeon 7200

                    as for specs

                    celron 900
                    256 ram
                    radeon 7200
                    sound blaster live 5.1
                    WinXP

I am sure my cpu is the bottleneck. I really need to upgrade, but with out money its sorta hard..

Yeah, that cpu does sound a little short for BF. Depending on what you want to upgrade to, I run the Asus A7N8X Deluxe board ($120) and AMD XP 2500+ Barton overclocked to 2.2GHz easily ($90) with 512 MB Ram.

I love the Asus board...ya can't go wrong with it. Also for what I do with the computer...the built in 5.1 sound is just fine with me.

The AMD XP 3000 is good as well....but really not worth the price, without overclocking it's stock at 2.7 Ghz
