          Just did a little research:

          DC .6F is compatible with BF 1.6, although it looks like DC .7 is expected in the very near future to ensure stability and add new items.

          I'd still like to try a little vanilla for a bit...hell, just to try out the new map(s) in online play.

                  For some reason, this server is currently not correctly playing the right game on the right map. It is still sometimes playing DC on 1942 maps.

                  3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.
